The "new to you" display

I very much like that feature -- particularly since I haven't been receiving the notification messages. Might I suggest that when there are new articles posted in a particular thread, that (a) there be only one link displayed that represents the thread; (b) you get taken to the display of the entire thread (the place you get to when you click on a specific listed message in the current display and then click the "parent" link); (c) if that's not done, at least have the display of the entire thread clear the "has not been read" flag for all the messages in the thread, or put checkboxes next to the ones you'd like to mark as "no longer new to me". As things are now, if you've not seen 5 messages in a thread, you have to click each link to get them out of the "new to you" display -- even though you might have read the whole thread having gone to the parent of one of the listed messages.
