APL+Win 6.2 is now available
Posted: Monday, July 17, 2006 11:15 AM (EST)

APL2000 is pleased to announce the release of APL+Win 6.2.  APL+Win 6.0 APLDN subscription licensees and current APL+Win 5.x APLDN premium licensees are entitled to this update.  Click download to retrieve the update.

This is the list of the new features/enhancements and bug fixes in APL+Win 6.2:

New Features/Ehancements:
1.  The UNIQUE primitive function.

2.  The implementation of ŒFX for MOM object system objects.  This
permits functions to be defined inside the referenced object.

3.  The ")OUTPUT STRICT" state that only produces "IMPLICIT OUTPUT"
errors when visible output is generated.  In addition, this new state
produces the "IMPLICIT OUTPUT" error message after the output has been
generated, so the effect of the output is visible.

4.  The Zip Class for Œwi that provides a facility for building archives
of files and extracting files from those archives.

5.  You can now specify the margins on the printed page when printing an
APL session or an Edit session from the Session Manager.

Bug Fixes:

1.  Fixed the bug that caused a sporadic APL+Win assertion failure in
line 303 of APLstate.cpp.

2.  Fixed bug that caused APL+Win to give a LENGTH ERROR when the Draw
method was used to get the size of an empty string.  It now returns 0 0.

3.  Fixed bug that caused the Tree control to not display its list when
deleting multiple nodes with the DeleteNodes method.  This fix also
addressed the problem with the DeleteNodes method returning incorrect
results.
