What, if any, is the convenient/easy way to migrate a workspace with a WS extension to release 5 or higher?

The possible solutions are:

1) Use the WStoFILE/FILEtoWS (functions) or ]IN/]OUT (user commands) migration tools or
2) Save the .WS workspace in version 3.5 or 4.0 of APL+Win, which can then be loaded in version 5 or higher.
