Bug Reports

Object not editable

In APL+Win 5.2.06, when I try to edit a nested object with

)edit nv

I get a popup window that says "Object not editable" and "Unable to edit object" is written to the session.

If I try to edit the nested variable by double-clicking it or with Ctrl+Shift+O, I get the popup (but nothing written to the session).

In 6.2.02, I don't get the popup.  This is fine when I'm using )edit because it writes something to the session, but when using Ctrl+Shift+O or double-clicking, the cursor changes to an hourglass, but that's it.  (Moving the cursor resets it.)  This is annoying because I'm waiting for something to happen, and nothing does.

Along a similar vein, if you're editing a suspended function and you press Ctrl+F12 to go to the line you're suspended on, the cursor changes to an hourglass and stays that way. Again, annoying. This occurs in v6, v5, and earlier.
