Bug Reports

Author Thread: CHDIR behavior

CHDIR behavior

When I start an APL session (5.2 or 6.0), Œchdir reports the current directory in lower-case on my Win2K system.  It doesn't report it in uppercase until I change drives.  Attached file shows example.

Not a major problem, but I have several programs that check for the current drive using Œchdir and expect to see uppercase -- I'll change them to deal with this.  Just a surprise to see it.

This may occur when the "Start In" field for the APL shortcut has a lower-case drive letter.  Upper-casing the drive letter should solve your problem.

Thanks, that does the trick.
