Just wondering when we can expect the next version of WebServices. I'm really looking forward to being able to use wild paths, but as far as I can see the downloadable version (AplServicesSetup v1.0.2140.34581.msi in May 2004) doesn't support these?

Support for wild paths was introduced in version 1.5.1648 of the Desktop version, released on July 7, 2004 and version 1.1.1644 of the NTService version, released on June 10, 2004. The current versions are 2.0.1874 and 1.1.1993, respectively, and are available in the "Release Candidate" area at http://apldn.apl2000.com/downloads/APLWS+Downloads/APLWSRC/default.aspx

Unfortunately I only have access to the "Production builds" section and the last (and first) version in there is v1.0.2140.34581, so I suppose I'm asking when these release candidates were going to be released as production builds?

We're working on this now and will post another message when they're available as production builds.

These downloads are currently inactive because we realized that we wanted to make some changes to these production builds.  A message will be posted here when the new downloads are ready.  Sorry for the inconvenience.

Creating the new production versions of APL+WebServices will take longer than expected, so in the interim the release candidate downloads have been reactivated in the production build area with a disclaimer that they are release candidate builds and not production versions.

We will post a follow-up message when the official production versions are available for download.
