I am writing a financial application in which I make extensive use of the APL Grid.  Up till now I have been handle all my formatting requirements with the help of the discussions in the section of the Grid documentation titled "Details on the xFormat Property."

One type of currency formatting now has me stymied, however, and I can find nothing about it in the documentation.  This is the commonly used accounting currency format that keeps the dollar sign left justified in the cell and the numerals right justified.  The nice thing about this format is that all the dollar signs line up in the column without regard to the fluctuating size of the dollar figures in the cells.  For example:

$         250

$      2,500

$    25,000

$  250,000

This format can be set up in Excel with a custom format, and I am wondering if anybody out there knows how or if it can be done in the APL grid.
